‘Suzette’s Plants’ for value and friendly service
Your video is wonderful and very informative. I love watching your video. But you can not get organic view and subscriber. I have some suggestion for you.
Why does this company have so much power?
Wesfarmers owns Bunnings and Coles. Wesfarmers is associated with WEF. So I try to only buy from others as much as possible.
when you buy from coles, woolies, or bunnings you support corporate tyranny😮
Please Australia listen up. When you think Bunnings the first thing you think is Communist Chinese govt. If you want to support a Communist Chinese govt that abuses the rights of its citizens, then go right ahead and hand them your money. If you don't want to support such disgusting people, there are hundreds of Aussie outlets that supply everything this Communists organisation does - and it's not made cheap by slaves in camps.
We need an Australia wide bunnings boycott. Bring back the service of a good old hardware store.
How can we buy direct?
There's a saying about this that a boomer like him should know because my boomer mother and her parents always told me: Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
This has changed my view of Bunnings and we will never buy any plants from them again. Monopoly, monopoly, monopoly…. When wii Governments act? Snore, snore……….
Our organisations should be charged with assessing our values and questioning whether we are adding value to society. Organisations need to run sustainable and profitable operations; however, this does not mean destroying our suppliers. All our supply chain partners are "partners", and our relationships are to benefit all, including the final beneficiaries of our products. Seek to serve.
Great man to stand up and tell it how it is. These companies would be broke without using there suppliers like you to fund their “business “. They make billions and send you broke. You are a legend sir
As a builder I have been avoiding Bunning especially as I can get everything I need through many other suppliers in my area. I also feel that the supplies I get through these outlets are of a higher quality which gives me peace of mind. Bunning to my mind is simple the biggest amount of garbage at the lowest cost.
Bunnings have basically smothered all hardware outlets, Australia wide.
They have a zero tolerance policy for abuse, but it's perfectly ok for them to do it to the customer.
I learnt years ago these deals with Bunnings are crocked. I meet a Nursery owners and they said they would send a new load of plants in, and a week or so later they were being rung to replace the whole load, because they had died due to no watering & neglect. And they were never reimbursed for the dead plants, and they still had to replace them. How do they expect businesses to survive that, then to demand they build or buy equipment or infrastructure, that's just bullying behaviour.
Delivering goods to Bunnings is a joke. I timed how long it took to load my truck. Took the Bosses Daughter fifteen minutes exactly. Bunnings staff took forty seven minutes to unload the same items and even longer to sign for the goods. Transport workers are held up for hours imposed by Bunnings. Then they have the Gawell to under cut opponents by ten percent!
This is SO overdue, and only the tip of the iceberg. Thanks for standing-up for us all living in Bunnings shadow.
Ah the new frontier in the radical left anti business part of australian politics. Perhaps Nick should stop whinging and sell his plants to some other company? There is no compulsion to sell to Bunnings, is there? And what about all the smaller growers put out of businesses by bigger ones like Stanmore Nursery? Plainly, Nick is in business, so is making a profit. As he has been for 'about 25 years', and still going, selling to Bunnings. So what's the problem? And why is the radical left wing supporting one business against another? Stanmore Nursery is a BUSINESS. The way you get cheaper retail prices, is for competition to drive all businesses to the lowest profit level they consider worth it to stay in business. Stupid whinging lefties who lap of this dogshyte from the Greens et al, are themselves Un Australian.
All what's happening is because of the stupidity of the people.
Boycott Bunnings. Support small business,
This is the same tactics supermarkets use against their fresh food suppliers.
Finally, the truth is out about “The corporation” Mom and Pop stores, are dead. Slave labour products. Everyone should be ashamed of themselves.
You all wanted it- the money, iPhone and gadget ridden cars? All with a 5 year lifespan. Pissweak ANZAC’s. We control the world economy 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
But bunnings and mitre10 are the only superchains to sell ting, tong tang, break after first use😂
I’ve heard that about countdown/woolworths, they screw you down with demands on quality, supply and price. Your medium size company is targeted by the headhunters and if you can’t supply? Welcome to your self grown greed.
Australia is very corrupt. Always spend a little more by staying away from corporations. This will be a short term lose but a big win for small business in term making Australia a better place.
Its really not that hard at all but aussie are weak, legit stop supplying the grubs and bunnnings be gone in a cpl weeks
Major supermarkets known for ripping suppliers and customers while make big profits and living the high life.
I used to love shopping at Bunnings when I lived in Australia. But at least I've got the balls to say it..
People will always chose convenience over ethics. Including nearly everyone commenting here regardless of their 'support the little guy' 'shop local' BS
Having experience inside a corporate environment I can testify the executive culture is not only toxic as you would expect, they’re actually delusional; seriously, they are. Although you can see them in this world, they don’t live in this world. They live in a fantasy of buzzwords and cliques. They’re fake and utterly annoying to be around.
Did work for Bunnings as a contractor for 10years and in the end they destroyed my business to cover themselves on a stuff up by them. I saw a lot of their tricks over the years. With other suppliers. They are pure scum!!!!!
Wait… you didn’t have a contract? You just admitted you didn’t have a contract 😂 then sorry but you are a bad business manager… the fact you let them push you around without a contract is proof of that.
Bunnings has always given the illusion of striped candy canes and talking chipmunks to begin with and after a while you realize your working in a pit of hissing snakes.
I felt sick in the guts hearing how Bunnings have treated this supplier
The Woolworths ceo is on 8.4 million dollars annually it’s disgusting and that money is stolen from farmers and suppliers of Bunnings
Let’s boycott these corporations they wouldn’t last two weeks
No different to Woolworths and Coles and the other big chain expect farmers to sell at wholesale but have to buy everything at retail
I need this put to the Bunnings Ad Music.....
The root cause is a lack of competition among big retailers. When corporations get too big and start using unfair sales tactics to destroy smaller competitors it is time for the regulators to grow a pair and protect the market. It is consumers who ultimately pay the higher prices from toothless regulators who allow this to happen.
This BS is So un-Australian, i'm sick of these bastards... The banks, supermarket everything is Sh!t...
This took courage to speak up! I had no idea that Bunnings did this. they are no different than the big supermarkets and groceries. Surely the ACCC should be stepping in here. And no lawyer has jumped in yet either? What a disgrace! My heart goes out to you and the nursery. Ive signed the petition and will donate tomorrow. Yes we all love cheap prices but at WHAT COST?????
oohukk
Sounds like the supermarkets
Bunnings! Every drivers worst nightmare when it comes to doing a delivery where you can wait up to a minimum 3 hours to deliver one item , they ha e a monopoly on just about every product and something should be done about it, even some plants deliveries have to wait in line whilst other trucks get unloaded so they can get through to where they gotta go Bunnings is a joke
Prices have beccome insane at Bunnings.
It's always the same with big companies they screw their suppliers down to the point where they are basically producing products at a bare minimum and selling for peanuts so the big companies can make a killing , its wrong and always has been. I was a branch manager for many years of industrial canteens on site and even our company would screw the suppliers down before they would commit to buying their products to re-sell . It sucks.
As much as I hate to say it it’s time hardware companies from around the globe should come to Australia as should supermarkets to
